Unzip the download
Extract should-i-post-this.zip into a folder you will keep. The browser loads the folder, not the zip.

Open your extensions page
Visit brave://extensions or chrome://extensions, then switch on Developer mode in the top right.

Load unpacked
Click Load unpacked, select the unzipped folder, then pin the shield to your toolbar.

Guardian Mode runs on your device. Nothing is stored or sent until you click Analyze.
The extension keeps no history, no account, and no analytics. It reads your selected text only when you click the icon or the right-click menu, uses it to prefill the analyzer, then discards it.
